Day 125 - at Lockup


All missing Hebel now installed, all external facing doors and windows in place, and a fetching pink damp proof layer applied at the bottom of the walls

  2. They are Scott, you should have every confidence.

    The important thing is that you have thought through exactly what you want, things like lots of powers points, ensuring that windows are centred correctly ie not necessarily to the room, but your use of the room. Issues arise when you do a custom build and change dimensions, you can undo the work of the architect who had it all balanced in terms of spaces and usage. Introduce change and you will get a good engineered result but may not take into account the usage in terms of kitchen usage patterns or windows in relation to benches, couches, TV's etc.

    The more you get right at the start, the more money you save in not having to do later changes.
