Day 190 - Stairs to family room replaced

Original stairs were fine, but step depth looked small due to the step widths, so we agreed with CG to upgrade them.

    we have similar steps in our new carter grange home (just about to sign contract). Could you tell me the original dimensions vs new dimensions? As i think our steps are the same as your original. cheers

    We increased the tread from the standard 280mm to 330mm, this has resulted in a 150mm extension beyond the wall which looks ok IMHO but if you don't then you will need to change the slab to allow for the extra 50 mm per step
